Description

The longevity and beauty of the yellow Helichrysum flower earned it the name Immortelle (Everlasting), but also helios (sun) and chrysis (gold). A symbol of love, it was long used to make wreaths for young brides. Today, the flower is found throughout the Mediterranean basin, but its preferred home remains the Isle of Beauty.

Steam distillation of the flowering tops of Helichrysum italicum yields an organic, 100% pure and natural Italian Helichrysum essential oil. This essence retains an intense and intoxicating fragrance.

Rare and precious, organic Italian Helichrysum essential oil is renowned for its regenerating, purifying and repairing properties. Rich in neryl acetate, organic Italian Helichrysum essential oil is also known as "boxer's oil" for its soothing properties.
