Native to the mountains of North Africa, particularly the Atlas Mountains, the imposing Atlas Cedar can reach up to 40m in height. Introduced to the south of France in the 19th century for reforestation, this magnificent tree was very quickly planted as an ornamental in parks and gardens.

It is the wood of the majestic Cedrus Atlantica that is steam-distilled to obtain 100% pure Atlas Cedar essential oil, with woody, deep, and fresh aromas.
