Description

Organic Sesame vegetable oil is known for its undeniable regenerating, restructuring, nourishing, and antioxidant properties. It is also an oil appreciated for its strengthening effect on skin and hair.

Organic Sesame oil is traditionally used for the care of mature skin with an anti-aging action because it is known to regenerate the epidermis and protect against the harmful effects of the sun.
Composition
  • INCI name: Sesamum indicum seed oil*
    *From organic farming. Certified by FR-BIO-10
  • Botanical name: Sesamum Indicum
  • Plant part: Seeds
  • Extraction method: Healthy, cleaned seeds are first cold pressed. The oil is then filtered successively through blotting paper. The oil is deodorized by a mechanical steam process (steam injection under vacuum, between 140 and 160°C).
  • Main polyunsaturated essential fatty acids
    Linoleic acid (C18:2): 36.9 to 47.9%
    Alpha-linolenic acid (C18:3): 0.2 to 1%
  • Main monounsaturated fatty acids
    Palmitoleic acid (C16:1): max 0.2%
    Oleic acid (C18:1): 34.4 to 45.5%
    Eicosenoic acid (C20:1): max 0.3%
  • Main saturated fatty acids
    Palmitic acid (C16:0): 7.9 to 12%
    Stearic acid (C18:0): 4.5 to 6.7%
    Arachidic acid (C20:0): 0.3 to 0.7%
    Behenic acid (C22:0): max 1.1%
