Zero Waste Solid Deodorant

Make your own zero-waste solid deodorant with 100% natural ingredients, in just a few minutes, it's possible!
For use at home or when traveling, this natural deodorant ball is very economical and water-free, lasting for months.

Use: Roll the deodorant ball under your dry armpits as often as needed.

Equipment:

• Bowl
• Spatula
• Scale and/or 25 ml Beaker + 5 ml Spoon
• 50 ml Jar

Storage: approx. 3 to 6 months (made under perfect hygiene conditions and stored away from air, heat, and light).

Ingredients

PHASE A

• 15 ml - Organic Coconut Oil
• 9 g - Organic Yellow Beeswax (3 x 5 ml spoons)

PHASE B

• 17.8 g - Baking Soda
• 9 g - White Clay

PHASE C

• 9 drops - Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

Preparation

1. Melt the Coconut Oil with the Beeswax in a double boiler.
2. Off the heat, add the Baking Soda and White Clay. Gently mix ingredient by ingredient.
3. Add the Peppermint essential oil. Mix until a homogeneous preparation is obtained.
4. Form a ball by rolling your preparation between your hands. Place it in the freezer for approx. 20 minutes. Remove from the freezer then let rest for 24 hours on a paper towel.
